

Our Story
Star Cider is deeply rooted in old world cider making practices. Growing up in farm families, making cider was a yearly tradition. Owners and husband and wife team, Adam & Cortni Stahl, began making hard cider every fall as a hobby, making a few hundred gallons in their basement. After countless batches experimenting with fermentation and blending, Star Cider was born in 2014.
For five years, they sold their ciders wholesale. With a bigger dream of owning a cidery of their own, they downsized from their traditional home and renovated an Airstream trailer. Adam and Cortni started building and planning the tasting room with help from friends and family. They officially opened their doors in May of 2019.

Star Cider uses 100% fresh-pressed New York apples and fresh, local ingredients to craft our hard cider. We value the importance of good agricultural practices and have a greater appreciation for the earth, the soil, the trees, the bees that pollinate the trees and fruit that is produced every fall.
Cider making is a labor of love that we cultivate by immersing ourselves in every aspect of the process from growing trees to picking, pressing, blending, and fermenting fresh juice into hard cider.
